Entertainment & Music - 16 January 2007

I like both the first Cheaper by the Dozen movie is cute it all starts in the first how the family is and stuff and the movie. The second is ok it's funny my fav. part in that movie is when Steve Martin as Tom are all hard on the kids. There eating dinner and the oldest girl the pregnaunt one gets all pist leaves the room and then comes back so she can get her food. That part is so great it shows how a real pregnancy woman is. The only character I don't in #2 is Hilary Duff as Lorraine first fop all when I saw Hilary it didn't even look like her I had to take a second look and i was liek wow she looks horrible sick too skinny talk about skin and bones. Also her character is stuck up and rude oohh she was ridiculous stuck up people liek that piss me off.

I have two, they won't sleep in their own bed. I won't let them sleep in their rooms because they are on the other side of the house so ZI put their toddler beds in our room but they still want to sleep on the couch. Any Ideas...I didn't get anything from parenting on this.

I don't expect to have much luck with this question. We have to go back about 30 or 40 years to the old naval submarine warfare movie I'm trying to remember.

As I tried to say, an emergency dive caused one sailor to hastily pull the conning tower hatch closed just a moment too soon. The result was that one sailor still on the ladder had one or more fingers smashed by the hatch. At this point, the small opening in the hatch was already allowing a lot of water to leak into the sub's control room. Their depth was rapidly increasing. At this point, even if they could open the hatch to release his trapped/smashed fingers, too much water would get into the sub. However, by this time, the pressure was too great and the hatch couldn't be opened, I presume.

What did they do? A crew member had a strong knife handy and he had to cut off the trapped fingers so the hatch could be tightened/sealed better.

Does this scenario ring a bell with any of you old time movie lovers? Thanks.
