I have two, they won't sleep in their own bed. I won't let them sleep in their rooms because they are on the other side of the house so ZI put their toddler beds in our room but they still want to sleep on the couch. Any Ideas...I didn't get anything from parenting on this.

Yes I had problems. They were around 3 1/2 before they would sleep in their own beds and then they would sleep together. I put my babies in the bed with me and then I had to deal with getting them out of the bed. Try putting their younth beds in your room for a few days or week to get them use to the bed. Then move it too their rooms. Don't worry. You can sleep in a few years and they will finally sleep in their rooms...haha

Who is the parent here? Super nanny would tell you that you put them in their beds and KEEP putting them in their beds until they learn to stay there.

If they are scared because their rooms are on the other side of the house, I can understand that - keep their beds in your room until you figure out a permanent solution.

Remember, you are the parent. Don't let the cycle of them ruling the roost at this young age or you will be in for years and years of problems.

My toddler had his birthday on the 9th. He is 34. He sleeps in his bed every night. Seriously, you make the rules, and should enforce them.

I never had this problem. My son has slept in his bed since he was 3 weeks old. My niece on the other is almost 5 and still sleeps with her mother.
