My friend and I went onto this whole debate about whether it was correct to use the term "somewhat decent". He/She said that you can't use somewhat decent because it's either decent or its not, whereas I claim that something can be partially decent, having pros and cons that contributes to it being both decent and having some characteristics that makes it not so decent. So, yeah, it's a stupid question, but I want to see everyone's rationale. Thanks for answering, if you do.

Why is it one someone is writing a response, or a question and they happen to mis-spell a word or their grammar is incorrect, there is always a knob (better known as a "tool") who points it out as if they are the smartest person in the world?
