Why is it one someone is writing a response, or a question and they happen to mis-spell a word or their grammar is incorrect, there is always a knob (better known as a "tool") who points it out as if they are the smartest person in the world?

So, why did you put a hyphen in misspell? Read your question again and see if it makes sense, then decide whether or not you want to criticize other people. And no, I am by far not the smartest person in the world and don't think so.

Well, obviously you're lashing out because you must have been the recipient of these said tool's remarks (on more than one occasion I'd bet)
It's irritating that so many people do not have BASIC grammar! And it's frustrating trying to work out some alphabetically challenged person's attempt at writing.

Go back to school you spanner.

I notice the same thing, and it used to bother me. Now, however, I actually enjoy seeing those knob/tool questions or answers, because they almost always include errors too! What could be more fun than throwing rocks at the glass house of a rock-thrower!

A lot of people are on here for pompous reasons, i.e. feeling self-important from gifting their advice to others. These are the type of people who feel good pointing out the flaws of others. It's not wonder they are so apt to point out misspells. But, in their defense, we are equipped with spell check to combat this problem...but it's not a big enough deal to attack someone for spelling something wrong!

It just shows how students today are totally unprepared for the real world. You need to develop a thicker skin if you want to get ahead in the real world. Not just in your protected little corner. When you have a real job your boss will correct you all the time and if you put up a fuss he will fire you and get someone who can do the job right.

Um, I don't know. Why are there terrorists? Why are there plants? Why are there rabbits? Why are there shoes? It's the same kind of question that you are asking, really.

It`s even more irritating if that`s the only `answer` they give.
