If astraphobia or astrapophobia is the fear of thunder and lightning, the opposite should be astraphilia or astrapophilia: astraphile. However, I couldn't find such words.
Hydrophobia is the fear of water (not necessarily rain): hydrophile .
I love both thunderstorms and rain. Sadly, weather changes have affected their frequency.

I believe a lover of rain is a pluviophile. I love thunderstorms too, but don't have a word for that, except dangerous. :-)

i like it plenty, I like it any day over sunny climate. it incredibly is comfortable and that i admire only turning off my room lighting fixtures, removing my candles and laying down with a good e book. i opt to stay someplace when I become previous that has a good number of thunderstorms.
