DID you ever (driven/drove/drive) to the beach (before)?

Would appreciate the difference between "have", "had" and "did" and the difference between "driven", "drive" and "drove" in this context.

Is "before" necessary at the end of the sentence?

Ah, I would take myself as an English speaking person, but suddenly I feel there is not much I know.

Thank you grammarians...

Alright, now, I know that some of you won't be able to resist calling me an idiot for asking this but here it goes....from time to time when someone scares me, i've been known to shout out a fairly common phrase that goes like this, "JEEZ, you scared the Bajeezas out of me!" I thought about it one day..and you know how it is sometimes you think about a word or phrase too deeply and it makes you wonder, where the heck did that come from? What is a "bajeeza"? Is it just a bit of well known jibberish, or was it from some childrens tale or folk tale or....something? Seriously now, what is a "bajeeza"? Just give me your opinion...or, could there be some facts behind this?...hmm...
