There actually isn't one. B is poor grammar but think about them all. A double negative is like saying 'I've not got nothing'. which, of course, logically means 'I've got something.' but is not meant to mean that.

A is OK because you can say that as inversely you could rephrase it by saying 'She would not go to the party because she did not like skating.'

B can be said in two ways ' James could hardly stay awake after his surgery.', which is better or 'James could not hardly stay awake after his surgery.' (Missing out the word 'hardly' validates that it is not a double negative)

C This makes perfect sense.

D Again this is OK because it is logical and has meaning.

None of the above choices is truly a double negative. However, Choice 'B' is grammatically incorrect, because 'hardly' should never follow a negative.
