When a corpse is found, hands tied behind the back and shot though th back of the head, the news reports an "execution style" killing. What nation, that still executes convicts for heinous crimes, uses this method of execution? Isn't it more a "gangland style" killing?
If such executions are still carried out in Asia, for example, shouldn't the reference be toward an "Asian execution style" killing?

I am puzzled with this word.
In dictionary. when precede is a ver, explaination is " to be or go before something or someone in time or space"

example sentence in dictionary:
It would be helpful if you were to precede the report with an introduction.

Can I understand as following? It would be helpful if you can start the report with an introduction. Am I right?

however, i find such a sentence.

The awards ceremony was preceded by the Microsoft Partner Summit.

What does it mean? The ceremony happened before the Summit? Or, the ceremony is part of the Summit, but it is the very first programme of the Summit?

Please help me out.

Thank you so much!

I am not the spelling bee champ by any means and I also make my share of typos when typing, But I have notice latley that I mispell alot of words while typing that I know how to spell

one of my examples is speech. I know it is spelled with two e's but every time I type it I spell it speach and have to correct it when I review my answer. I catch it right away and I change it I just find it weird that I always mispell it.

Anyone else do this and if so what word do you do it with.
