whats the word for when someone treats you in such a manner..like,they say aaww poor you aww you poor thing,but the dont mean this in a sincere way,they mean in it a way to suggest like ?? i dont mean patronizing or condescending? but,is there a word that would cover everything such as,belittling,dismissive,???

example=if a child went to their parents and told them they were being molested,and the parents response to the child was aww your so melodramtic,what would be the word for the way that parent was speaking to their child??

Sardonic is the word you're after.
Trust me on this.
But this word is too sharp for your example involving a child.
In that situation, the parents are unbelieving, uncaring, opaque.Sardonic is much more of an active put down.

No it rather is no longer a foul observe, in basic terms a foul decision. It implies a lesser vocabulary. attempt to spice up your language skills you would be seen in a lots better easy. For the choose of a miles better observe.
