Whats it called "where you're walking and someone's walking towards you and you each try to step aside but you both go the same way and you do it again and again until one of you just scoots around." In class I have to present a pet peeve and I dont know what to call that. Anyone have a word or at least a shorter explanation?

I'm instructed to form a sentence that shows that i know how to use "like" and "as"... I know how to use each INDIVIDUALLY, but how can i properly show both of them in ONE sentence?
Anybody have any example sentences?

THANKS!

But it does me...
Why can't people spell out a whole word???
And use uppercase letters and all that good stuff?
Does it really hurt to type a few more letters....

"Y-O-U" "A-R-E"
etc.

I've been working on homework for a long time now, and I just can't seem to think of a pronoun slogan. This is what I mean, I have one but I need another:

Our toothpaste brand won't leave a bad taste in your mouth!

The slogan must start with a pronounu (in that case *our* was the pronoun) So do you think that's catchy?

Btw the slogan can't be an already existing one.

Thanx if you have any suggestions! I would really appreciate since I have even more homework..............

When someone tells you that they saw your work (like a website) and "have been swamped." And that they'll keep in contact with you. Does that just mean that this person was busy (swamped), but they saw your work? Or is there another meaning?

The first 6 people to post ONE phrase that they would like to have listed, will have their phrase listed. ( IT MUST BEGIN WITH THE LETTER ► " O " ◄)
So instead of me making up the phrases.....YOU have a hand in it!!!!
Confused??? You'll see...... It's really quite simple....
After I see the first 6 phrases, I will LIST THEM IN THE ADDED DETAILS....THEN,GO BACK TO MY QUESTION , LOOK AT THE PHRASES AND WRITE A LITTLE STORY THAT MUST INCLUDE THOSE 6 PHRASES.
P.S. I WILL NOT ACCEPT BATHROOM HUMOR OR PROFANITY.
█ If you are not one of the first 6 responders, you are still invited to write a story and compete. ◄◄ Good luck and have FUN~~~~~~~~~
