Whats it called "where you're walking and someone's walking towards you and you each try to step aside but you both go the same way and you do it again and again until one of you just scoots around." In class I have to present a pet peeve and I dont know what to call that. Anyone have a word or at least a shorter explanation?

There is no real name for it, but I call it "shuttling".

I call it "dancing with someone" because the way people make it laughable is to say, "shall we dance?" Weird, huh, how some "dances" last for an uncomfortably long time.

Accommodating. You are trying to be accommodating by thinking they will move to the right so you move to the left. They are thinking the same (opposite) which leads both back into the same plane of section.

No, but when it happens to me. I usually thank them for the dance or say something like: we can't go on meeting like this". I always get a chuckle from that.
