"it was a near miss, but it worked out bad in the end it hit bang on target" wouldnt "a near hit" be more appropriate if a disaster was averted by the skin of its teeth

it seems as though "alright" would indicate a response; by contrast, "all right" would indicate a response as well, but would be more suited to a state of being.

If it is not, indicate why and please improve it:

Keyser is kept a mysterious character in the movie and the audience never gets to see its face. However, it does get a chance to see his hair and it looks nothing like Verbal’s; Verbal’s hair is short and black and Keyser’s is long and blonde.

IF you think it need simprovements please tell me how to do so.
Verbal incriminates Keyser; this leads the audience to believe that they are two different subjects because otherwise, Verbal would be incriminating himself.

How does this look?
The film tricks the audience by making Keyser Söze’s intelligence incompatible with Verbal’s, giving Verbal have a complete different physical appearance from Keyser Söze, and having Verbal talk about Keyser as thought they were two different persons.

How does this soud grammaticaly?
Some strategies that the film uses to trick the audience so it doesn’t know that “Verbal” is actually Keyser Söze are Verbal’s intellectual incompatibility with Keyser Söze’s, Verbal’s talk about Keyser Söze which makes them seem like two different persons, Verbal and Keyser Söze having a different physical appearance, and giving Verbal a perfect American accent, whereas Keyser Söze is of Turkish descendent.

If I look up "consolidate" in Encarta Dictionary. There is a small history or origins related to the word. Like the following:
[Early 16th century. < Latin consolidat-, past participle of consolidare "make solid" < solidus "firm, whole"]
What does the < mean?
