keep putting things off that you need done. I am a procrastinator, wait as long as can to get ready for work: and I love my job, put of deadlines to last minute; then pull an all nighter to get job done. It's not just with work, been needing to paint living room for ever! It's not same as lazy, because I'm always busy. Don't know why people procrastinate about certain things.

It doesn't just mean putting things off to the last minute (as other answerers are suggesting) . . . putting off anything for any amount of time when it can be done now is procrastination. Good night!

Procrastination is when you keep putting off something you need to do till the last minute.

For example, if you need to study for a test, you'll keep putting it off till the night before the test.

That's procrastination!

PS. I do it ALL the time.

Procrastination is the deferment or putting-off of an action or task, usually by focusing on some other distraction (compare temporisation). It is Latin for "foremorrowing," or making some such of tomorrow.
