It seems to me that many words are spelled wrong because they are text/chat versions of the words (i.e.: u, r, ne1). They are spelled that way to make them shorter. I can't figure out, though, why people add the extra t onto the word hot. Does it make them feel cool? To me, it makes them seem illiterate, annoying, and immature. I know this is mostly a rant, but I would like to know if anyone knows the real reason for this misspelling.
