I say it care-A-mel
And get mad when people don't pronounce it that way, because that's how it's spelt... hehe

I say Car-a-mel. As far as I am concerned, If the word is supposed to be pronounced car-mel, then it would be spelled carmle. Of course I'm kinda weird like that. I say Asia like this: A-ze-ya. Weird, I know, Does anyone else pronounce it that way?

If it's in a candy bar it's pronounced care-a-mel. For everything else it's car-mel.

It depends on your regional accent.. The way Americans pronounce English words is sometimes different than the way the English pronounce their native language. Accents play a big part of how a word is pronounced. Midwestern accents are thought of as the standard but New England accents are closer to the proper pronunciations of English words. ~smiles

A good example would be how Latin (not Spanish) is pronounced by Americans and how it would really sound in ancient times.
