"The only thing we have to fear is fear itslef."
I know what he meant, but I turn it into words. I've been working on a project about him for hours and my brain has just about died.

I have been wondering for a while who said this. The quote is, "Hope for the best, and prepare for the worst." I am pretty sure that George W. Bush said it right after 9/11, but I am not entirely sure. For all I know, I might have subconciously thought it up, but if anyone recognizes this, could they let me know?

How does the theme of gang enhance your understanding of this passage?

“When you’re a Jet,
You’re a Jet all the way
From your first cigarette
To your last dyin’ day.
When you’re a Jet,
If the spit hits the fan,
You got brothers around,
You’re a family man!
You’re never alone,
You’re never disconnected!
You’re home with your own-
When company’s expected,
You ‘re well protected!
Then you are set
With a capital J,
Which you’ll never forget.
Till! They cart you away.
You stay
A jet!

I would like to put the words of Don Imus behind me just as probably the most of you do. But there are some many things that happen in our country that brings racial splits to surface. It seems Don Imus' comments were one. Is it just mean or do most blacks feel that justice was served when Imus was fired while most whites feel that it was unnecessary and extreme.
