Quotation continues: "...the worlds are hidden of which we are unaware." I think this remark may be said by Albert Einstein. If so, I would like to know the source of his quotation. Please somebody help me!

Has anyone read the Heart Of Darkness by Joseph Conrad?

OKay I'm doing an assigment where i have to compose a short story. I have to analyze what the the character Marlowe is referencing, literally and what is the figurative, or larger realization he is stating.

The quote is " -No, they were not inhuman. Well, you know, that was the worst of it-this suspicion of their not being inhuman. It would come slowly to me."

I just need to see if I'm on the right track as to what i think. Thanks for taking the time to reply to my question I appreciate it greatly. And please don't think i'm lazy I just need to decipher this book that's giving me hell. I get it on the larger spectrum, but some things are a lil bit complicated as to when I have to break everything down and analyze it word for word

Thank You, If you want to share some more words you can email me at RenRobe29@aol.com

Found them from a book series called chicken soup for the soul:

- Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.
- Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired and success achieved.
-The only use of an obstacle is to be overcome. All that an obstacle does with brave men is, not to frighten them, but to challenge them.
-We grow because we struggle, we learn and overcome.
-The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
- Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant with the weak and the wrong. Sometimes in your life you will have been all of these.
- Reach high, for every star lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.
- Do not follow where the path may lead. Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trial.

I was watching a movie in my class called "The Big Lebowski" and my teacher gave us an assignment and he asked the class this question, "Notice how the dude tends to repeat language used by various and social figures in the film(i.e when he borrows "This aggression will not stand" from the President Bush). What might the film be saying about language and context? How does the context for a given phrase help determine the language's ideology?
