if my grades were 1.3 for a 5 credit class, 3.0 for a 1 credit class, 4.0 for a 2 credit class, and 2.5 for a 5 credit class... how do i get a GPA of 2.31? how is that calculated?

I earned a Ph.D. in a so-called "soft science". Outside of a college/university environment, I think addressing me as "professor" is as unnecessary as a civilian addressing a military person by their armed forced title. I wouldn't mind being addressed as "Dr.", but I prefer to be called by my first name, or "Mrs." or "Ms.". I think "Professor" is appropriate if I'm your college teacher. My mother is having a cow over this. I don't get it. I just prefer to reserve the title "Dr." for physicians. Am I the only one who feels this way?

I am applying to a high school, and part of the admissions process is an interview. I have heard that they ask questions such as "Why do you want to attend school here?", "What will you bring to this school?", etc. Tips on answering and any general interviewing tips would be greatly appreciated.

Why does a man state that he really wants to get with a person? Then when the person reciprocates, the person who "gushed" all over themselves, "acts" as though he has no clue. This has not been done "once" but multiple times. When he appears, he is all "happy" to see me. He even pretended he didn't say that he cared for me, to all of those people. What is going on here. The way that he acted, it almost sounded like an advertisement. He "kissed me" on the cheek at a "party" and no alcohol was served there. He "hugged me" in the aisle at church. This is very strange behavior.

Part of me wants to do it, because i would have a better reputation and be more respected by my teacher, but part of me doesn't want to do it because it will add too much stress to me and embarrass me. I already have my classes to focus on, i'm on a basketball team and, and i am working on getting my eagle scout rank. Hardly anybody knows i'm in band, if i make it to the honor band, they announce it to the whole school. People make fun of people in band. *band geeks*
I know i shouldn't worry about what other people think...
And I don't have much time to decide, so i need answers quickly!!!

tonight i'm planing on sneaking a guy into my house... i live with my grandparents so they go to bed around 9 or 10. the problem is their bedroom is right next to mine and the house is an older house and when you psychically make noise (by movement) it sends vibrations to their room. & the lock on the door isn't that good.

i'm not looking for a motherly hint as "DONT do IT" ;;
i just need good advice for the situation !

1) What is usually the deadline for early applications?
2) What is usually the deadline for regular applications?
3) When do you find out if you were accepted/rejected/deferred for early action?
4) When do you get your acceptance/rejection letter in the spring?

I understand it is slightly different for different colleges, but I am looking for the average timing. For instance, do you find out about early action before or after Thanksgiving? Before or after the regular applications are due? Do people get their letters in the spring before or after spring break?

can you please tell me what i should focus on studying if i like to:
find justice for people
hold people responsible for their actions
want to maybe work to change unjust laws
make people aware of things that they are not aware are going on
debate with people because im always right
i think I am a good speaker and a good listener
i am good at choosing good arguments when i belive im correct
i want to be acknowledge for changing specific things maybe in society or in goverment or human rights

For some reason I always wait till the last minute to do my schoolwork and projects, and I always say "next time I'll finish early!" But I never do. I have a pretty hectic schedule but I do have time at home. Im a freshman in Highschool and things are piling up pretty fast. Any suggestions?

keep my parents from seeing them? i don't get bad grades but whenever i get one C on like a quiz and all A's on everything else, my parents forget about all the good grades and freak about the C. and the C doesn't even matter in my average grade. I just don't want them to know my password to find my grades online but the school emails and mails home the password. and if that won't work, how can i convince my parents that those grades don't matter or something??
