What I'm tryin to do is instead of typing a long paragraph in the about me section on my Myspace is I want it to be lines with the symbol I want in front of it but everytime I do it ends up being a paragraph anyways....

so i am in high school and i am in all honors classes and i have a 3.7 GPA. i am smart, but i like to have fun too so i sort of have a rep for being a partier. but i dont want that anymore. i want kids to take me more seriously and see me as the intellegent girl i am. how can i fix my rep???

So I'm taking two electives, i'm gonna take digital photography, and i can choose another. but, i can't decide, should i take p.e. (to get it out of the way because you need a year of p.e. to graduate) or career planning (to help me get into the right college and everything) or spanish (because it would be helpful where i live and knowing to languages could help me get a better job l8r)

so i want to do all three......they would all be helpful and p.e. is fun.....but, i can't decide and i need to know before tomorrow. what do u think i should do? spanish, p.e., or career planning? and why?

hey all......trying to find out what happened to my old high school in chicago........went there from 78-81 i know it was real cuz i graduated.......but now when i google it???? does'nt seem to exist. the name was harrison hs southwest side, pilsen area.....any one have idea's on how i can find out what happened to it or if it's closed down? thanks for help

Sorry, if I come off blunt- I'm in high school and I was assigned to create a resume as if I were currently pursuing my desired carreer. I am interested in being a veterinarian; for the objective of the resume, we have to be specific, though I'm not exactly sure what to put. What types of veterinarians are there/ what types of places do they work at? What is a "private clinical practice"? I really appreciate the help.

for the last three years when i was in school and i studied so hard!!!! I could have typed and do anything which i was told to and was very hard working.But still i failed. that was very heart breaking. Now since i started my Btec course which wants all the assignments typed out i just can't its like as if i am starting to hate to put any more effort i have tried to motivate myself but have been unsuccesful. It is so cumpolsulory for me to pass this year. But how shall i tell everyone that i just hate the work etudying. It does make me sad that all the work which i get asked to do now if i had it three years back i would have done it so easily but now i don't do it its so hard i don't know how to make anyone understand!!!!!!!!

A critical analysis is critiquing another authors work-not taking a position on content or topic, but rather examining the performance-execution of words, effectiveness as a writer, weight of their point-how they support it, & the strengths + weaknesses.
I was given an assignment, & I have to prepare for a final tommorow. I'll have 90 mins to hand write an essay. We're allowed to take notes, & i'm a bit stuck on what sort of format I should take, or what's the best to make an outline, for this specific type of paper?
I know how to write a regular, basic composition; I just thought there might be some certain methodical questions to keep in mind, to follow in steps to get the piece written.

For instance- Paragraph A: I introduce the author
Paragraph B: I mention the thesis
Paragraph C: I present what I thought he wanted the readers to take away
Paragraph D: I state my interpretion of his point
and, so on, that's just an example of the kind of answer i'm hoping for.

I have a severe math learning disability, I failed math every year i've taken it and I've made up most of those credits with summer school. I failed again last year and for whatever reason was ineligible for summer school again so they made me pay $125 to take a night school course to make up the credit.

So I get into this class, and I'm failing AGAIN because of my disability. I'm doing everything I possibly can to get by in this clas but it's just not working at all and I've noticed this:

1. Half the kids in the class just talk the whole time and cheat off of each other
2. another bunch of the kids actually know all the answers and can do this effortlessly, but are here because they were too lazy to even try in school
3. A few of the kids got up and changed the grade of their last test when teacher was out of the room.

What the hell can I do? I'm really trying my best and it's getting me nowhere and if I fail I won't gaduate and my life will be crap from here on out!

I have done a lot of research and find that there is just too much to read. I would just like to hear from a few people with the disease...

I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS:

1) Do you suffer from joint pain in conjunction with ulcerative colitis? IF SO, HOW DO YOU HANDLE IT?

2) WHAT TIME OF DAY IS IT THE WORST? (For me, it seems to be at night.)

3) DOES ANYONE TAKE ASACOL AND/OR 6MP (aka Mercaptapurine or Purinethol) FOR MAINTAINANCE? These are the drugs I take. I was under the impression that these drugs help to keep my intestines "calm". Is it possible that they also help keep my joint pain down too? Admittedly, I've been lax in taking my meds lately and have noticed joint pain. Is it possible that my meds were alleviating the joint pain and I didn't notice it until I got lax in taking them?

PS I see a doctor regularly. I will be seeing him in a few months. I just wanted to hear from people in similar circumstances.

I go up for TOp secret clearance for pilot in the AF. I tried weed once, which i know is not a big deal and i will just state the one time i used it. The one im worried about is 3 yrs ago at my university I was getting blocked from my internet, the tech came up couldnt figure out why. he told me when I get blocked to change my mac address numbers. Eventually i figured out it was because I was downloading music. So I was like hmm well I can just unblock myself. So w/e ... Eventually they caught on and fined me $100. Honestly I had a full load of classes and all I was thinking about was accessing the interenet to get my HW done. They say my file of it will be erased in 2 yrs.. so it should be gone.. But i will still report it. It was all in house.. with the school. Does anyone think this is minor? People tell me its not worse then a late movie rental fee..
