What is the best brand of general education, reference, and test prep books, in order of best to worst, out of: McGraw Hill, Barron, Prentice Hall, for Dummies, Arco, and REA? And what order brands would you recommend?

I don't buy books by brand at all. What matters to me is the content, the writing, the author, the subject, etc. I think it would be hard to say that a brand of books is best, because it depends on their current catalog, and it changes.
