keep my parents from seeing them? i don't get bad grades but whenever i get one C on like a quiz and all A's on everything else, my parents forget about all the good grades and freak about the C. and the C doesn't even matter in my average grade. I just don't want them to know my password to find my grades online but the school emails and mails home the password. and if that won't work, how can i convince my parents that those grades don't matter or something??

what can i do?

i'm sorry but a c is not good. you should be the one who's ashamed of getting a c when you're clearly capable of being an a student, not your parents. it does hurt your overall score. i'm not saying you should freak out about it, but don't get into the habit of blowing it off like it's nothing.. it means that's the class you need to study a lil harder for next time.

but, anyways, i would try to make a deal with them that as long as your final grades are good every quarter/semester then they don't get to look at your test scores on the site. but if you start messing up, then that can be an option for them. be honest & tell them how it makes you feel just like you did here.

you have to realize that this is probably not implemented by the school for students like you. there are kids who fail tests and lie about it to their parents until they fail the class, and then it's too late. this is a tool for parents to monitor kids like that so at the end of the marking period they can't go to the teachers saying "oh, well i didn't know how poorly todd was doing" and try to blame it on them.

What your school has been practising is good. You will realise this when grow up by a few years more.I am sure, you will appreciate this system afterwards.

you could get the password when it gets mailed home, and then log on and change the password.
