How do they conver because a 2.0 does not mean u have a 50% and it is out of 4.

3.0 is a B, 83 - 86 percent

2.0 is a C

It does not mean any percent. It means your letter Grade average is B. You get 0 for an F, or 1 for a D, or 2 for a C, or 3 for a B or 4 for an A in each course that you take. Three semester hour courses are the norm when calculating grade point averages. For example an A in a 4 hour course would count 4/3 x [4] whereas an A in a 3 hour course would only count as 3/3 x [4] when totaling up your grade points to calculate your average. The school will calculate your GPA for each semester and make it available to you. The school will also calculate your accumulative GPA after each semester all the way through to graduation and make that available to you.
