Alright so I am a sophomore in high school. After this year I want to drop out, get my GED, and attend a community college. I need this because I am struggling and am going to have to get a job soon to get by anyways. I can afford community college now but not down the line, and I want to get a degree from them so I have a better choice of jobs.

So, my question is: Will a community college accept me with my GED and being young?

My sophomore orientation is today and I'm not sure if I should bring a parent. One of my friends told me that after freshman year no one takes their parents with them to orientation. I don't know if this is true but I'm still not sure if I should take my dad. I don't really care about being the only one there with a parent becasue that better than going alone. I just want to know if it's okay to bring my dad and if other sophmores have taken thier parent to orientation before.

I am high school student in Europe and we have to choose a subject in which we will major in the future and we have to take a test from it in senior year. First, I chose history but then I though about taking biology. I like both subjects so it's quite hard for me to decide. They say that biology is harder but there's a lot to memorize in history.
I would like to study in the U.S. after I finish high school, so which subject would I have a better chance with? I'd be curious about what other people have to say, any opinions. Thanks!

I hope I was understandable with my english. :) If not, just let me know.

The world changed when I wasn't looking. I thought both encompassed England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland, but I never hear anyone say Great Britain anymore, although there seems to be a British Prime Minister. Can anyone clear this for me?

This is what my teacher wrote-

I favor a better system for funding education, high speed internet for everyone, a computer for every student, a strong wish ethis, and honesty.

Does favor mean.. like I wish for...? I support? or what does it mean?

Its for a school assignment, i have to write my own, drop some ideas for something you might favor also! Thanks!
