My sophomore orientation is today and I'm not sure if I should bring a parent. One of my friends told me that after freshman year no one takes their parents with them to orientation. I don't know if this is true but I'm still not sure if I should take my dad. I don't really care about being the only one there with a parent becasue that better than going alone. I just want to know if it's okay to bring my dad and if other sophmores have taken thier parent to orientation before.

It's a high school orientation.

Is this high school or college? If you don't care if he comes or not, then just tell him the date and time and let it be his decision. If you want him to come, then ask him and don't worry about what others think. If you don't want him to come, then tell him that you're going with your friends or that most parents don't go after Freshman year. It really depends on what YOU want.
