On Tues. the moon crosses into the shadow of earth, becoming completely immersed for an hr. and 30 mins. It will be the longest eclipse in seven years. Europeans will miss out on the entire show, as the Moon will be below the horizon during their mid and late morning hours.
US TIME ZONES:
PDT 2:52 a.m
MDT 3:52 a.m.
CDT 4:52 a.m.
EDT 5:52 a.m.
We have a backyard pool. My plan is to go outside, and float on my back to watch the eclipse. The cold water should do the trick. If you don't have a pool, get a big bowl of water with ice cubes, and splash some on your face from time to time.

Do you happen to know the times for different time zones in the US, and an eclipse is when the something blocks out the moon right??

The best way to stay awake:
Keep yourself occupied!
I always find it easy to play video games.. or... chat rooms.. or something like that...
But it's sorta.. whatever works for you. Most of the time, my late night/early hours are spent talking on the phone though... but then you have to find someone who's willing to stay up with you.
(oh, and sugary foods are fun, too.)
