this is a topic on which i was supposed to make a speech.(around 3 mins)the topic is not choosen by me and i think it s kind of abstract.Could any of you guys give a detailed explanation of this and provide some angles on which i can work out my speech?i heard it came from a saying "Charity begins at home"what does that means?thanks for viewing this i will apperciate your smart idea and time.

I am wanting to get some sort of education that doesn't take terribly long to get, something much shorter than getting a degree preferably, that would allow me to make more in the work force. I know that going to learn how to do hair takes about a year, but thats too long and expensive as well. Would getting a commercial driving license be a good idea? What would be some kind of short education program that would allow me to get a better paying job? Even getting an associated degree would take too long, at lease two years.

I'm thinking 6 months or less ANY field, other than striping. Haha.

I don't know how to calculate what I need on my final exam to get a C or a B.

Grades are based on the total of points from the lecture questions (120) + the midterm (170) + the final (170)

The homework grades make up 120 points. These are the grades I got:
100
90
94
90
85
95
85
100
95
100
92
100

The midterm was 170 points, I got a 63 (yeah, I know)

The final is another 170 points. I haven't taken it yet but I would like to know what I need to get in order to make a B or C. Thank you for helping!

I never actually studied for test, and usally get 70's, and sometimes fail. But now im starting college and i want to actually get good grades and keep up with the work. So i decided to study for a test coming up. I read this textbook but i just read it and nothing gets through my head. I read it and i say what did i just read. I reread it and say the same thing again. Can you guys tell me ways i can read the textbook and things i can do while reading it to have the things i read into my head.

im thinking about going to an online college.... ashworth university or university of phoenix ....they both allow masters in psychology which is what i want. is that a good idea? i just had a newborn so im not ready to go to a real college yet? will an employer look at the fact that i went online to get my degree and look down upon it?

I have a high IQ, and I constantly told by my teachers I am extremely smart yet extremely lazy and unmotivated. I really have been depressed this summer (going into my senior year) because I dont want to become a joke of a person. I want to make my parents extremely proud. I want to live and work in my place of love, Manhattan. I want to be the best I can be, because I know I am different than most people. I just do not feel my grades reflect any hint of my wisdom, nor my intelligence. I recently took the SAT and barely prepared, infact I really didnt even prepare and got in the high 1400's. My parents constantly ask me why i dont share my genius, and I just shrug my shoulders and say "I wish I knew". I feel like I can be an AMAZING person, a role model for a lot of people. I want to get into a great public/private school, or ATLEAST a SUNY, such as Geneseo or Binghamton, but I just do not know how. I need to show them I am a step above other humans, that I am not like the rest. HELP

hi, I am a college student. I have a very bad habit of doing many things at the same time, though it is good in a way that it keeps me busy, but many times I feel over burdened. You see, I am in my final year so i have to go to college and for the respective tutions, then I am Preparing for my MBA also.
