I don't like my school very much. I just don't fit in. I live in Virginia, and I attend one of the best schools in the country. The work is tough, we go at an insane fast pace. The kids are very well rounded, they have the looks, the brains, the money, the girls or the guys. They live what you might want to call The all american dream. It's a preppy school mainly, not trying to sterotype here as best as I can.

And when you're not like them, they look and treat you like you're nothing. I have a disability in Math, and I just feel so bad. I do get A's in B's in everything else but Math is just difficult. I feel so stupid there.

I can't change schools because I have so many times in the past. And I don't want to conform either. It's not really a question, more like a rant. I'm not in the mood for any bad comments. Does highschool ever end?

Hi Everyone!
My high school requirements for an AP course are semester grades no lower than a B & a minimum of a 3.75 GPA in that subject for all quarter grades.
My four quarter grades are as follows:
91, 92, 90, 83

I don't know if I'm eligible for the AP course because I have no clue how to calculate my GPA for those quarters.

Someone please help me!

Really, has everyone gotten so arrogant that they really believe that Wikipedia is the be-all end-all of accessible knowledge? I mean, reading some of these answers, I have to wonder if the people cut and pasting them from Wikipedia are even thinking when they do so. Wikipedia isn't always right - I mean, god, it's a popular-knowledge database that's only true until someone comes along and changes something. There is no accountability. Can we really stake our intelligence on this type of claim?

I will be in 10th grade in 3 days and I feel kinda not myself (on the outside) and I feel like I don't have a best friend and I don't know what I'm going to do with the rest of my life. I'm a student at cuny who will be transfering to suny in the spring. I just want to apply to as many scholarships as I can so that I can pay for school and all the things I will be needing. I'll have a 3.3 average by the time I transfer over in the Spring. Are there any scholarships for people with good grades?Does getting good grades even count? I am in the process of reading The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. I am also going to listen to the audio book when I am finished reading it. I am writing notes on it so i can study it without having to read it for a third time. BUT. Im new at AP (advanced placement) classes and never had a summer reading assignment. I would like to get some printable worksheets on it so i know I am studying the right things and just to freshen my memory before the class starts. The class is in august. I e-mailed my teacher and she said the reason it is summer reading is to see if I can comprehend a book on my own. Which i can. I was reading my college book and it said for me to get into this program I have to get a c or higher in all my required classes. So if I get a c- or a d in a class does this mean I will have to take it over. Are all colleges like this because the college I go to is a community college.
