Hi Everyone!
My high school requirements for an AP course are semester grades no lower than a B & a minimum of a 3.75 GPA in that subject for all quarter grades.
My four quarter grades are as follows:
91, 92, 90, 83

I don't know if I'm eligible for the AP course because I have no clue how to calculate my GPA for those quarters.

Someone please help me!
Thanks :)

The quarter grades follow a 10 point grading scale, so...
100%-90% = A
89%-80% = B
and so on...

I have no idea about any of this.
I nearly typed the requirements in the handbook word for word.

Did your school recently change from a 4.0 standard to a % standard? The problem isn't the difference between quarters and semesters, but that the grades you are giving aren't directly translatable into a 4.0 standard. However, what I can tell you is that a 3.75 is generally an A/A-, while you have at least one quarter with a B-range grade (the 83), so you may not be eligible. You need to check with your school.

i'm no longer able to assert how your college does it, yet in maximum situations, quarter grades would be switched over to an equivalent of a semester grade, and all your prevalent classes will circulate on the valid transcript. in case you have questions, circulate right down to the workplace and ask them how that is accomplished, somewhat than listening to the folk roaming the halls. continually get significant advice from a truthful source.

each A is worth 4 points and each B is 3 points. so since u have 3 A's and 1 B it'd be 15 points. then you'd divide that by how many classes there were, which is 4. so 15/4 is 3.75 and that's your GPA.
