My 35lb Special Needs child - another "regular transportation" issue.

The bus my kids ride has three stops with 15-25 kids at each stop. The last two stops are just 1/4 mile apart. After the driver picks up the last group he drives down a couple of streets and gets back on the main road to go back to school. This is a K-8 school so the kids are ages 5-14.

When doing this the bus drives right past where a lot of the kids live. In my opinion, having 20 kids at one bus stop is a MAJOR safety issue. Not just because they all push up to the street when they see the bus (one of them could fall in front of the bus) but someone could get hurt when they swarm the bus trying to be first one on. Another problem at the last stop w/so many getting on at once, it's really hard to find a seat and sometimes the bus takes off before everyone is sitting.

They could EASILY make another stop w/5-10 kids and not one thing would have to change. Can they be REQUIRED to do this? HOW?!

My 5 year old has always been in regular classes "with accomodations and related services" - since under the disability LAWS for children a SEVERE Speech/Language Impairment IS a disability. - Then we moved - 30 miles - same state (AZ).

2 mo's later I'm still fighting to get her OT and Spch therapies back and they're giving me hell about transportation!! The LAW will get her bus back but if they want to make this such a HUGE issue, so be it.

1st week we were here, my daughter was on the regular bus. I was at the bus stop w/2 other parents when eleven 5-7 yr old's were dropped off & the bus left. Four kids (including mine) were w/adults, 6 went in different directions to go home & one little girl was standing on the sidewalk crying. Noone was there for her, didn't speak english & didn't know how to get home.

I was SO angry! I called and told the school everything. The solution: a "special" provision - MY kid won't be left unlss I'm there. > NOT why I called!< COMMENTS?

I'm trying to come up with a title for a paper about homerooms (it's from a positive side of view). I need positive adjectives starting with the letter "h". Happy, helpful, etc. Titles that have to do with homerooms would be great too. Thanks in advance.

I can understand typos, but so many people can't write/type a normal sentence without making a major grammatical mistake.
Is everyone in a hurry or just really that bad at grammar?
