Click on "Insert"
Click on "Symbol"
See the grid. The copyright symbol is in the seventh row, twelfth column. Click onj it.
Click on "Insert"

It actually isn't under fonts. It's under the insert tab. If you click on insert, then symbols a window pops up. You can scroll through and look for the copyright symbol and then click insert. Then if you need it again you can hightlight the symbol in your text and copy/paste it to a new location.

In your Word document, just type ( C ). Word will automatically change it to a copyright sign.

Look for it in the character map program listed under accessories. Copy it in this program and paste it in Word.

On windows it would be

start--programs--accessories--system tools--character map.

Copy the symbol and paste into your document

hold your alt key, and enter 0169 on your number pad.
