Here's the deal, I am from Fairbanks, Alaska and am currently a sophomore at Colorado State Univerisit. I am having a really difficult time deciding if I want to stay here or transfer back home. I should say that I guess I came here for the vet school, and because as a senior in high school I thought I wanted to go out of state for the "full college experience." But, when I look back, I can't think of a "real" reason I decided to come here, except that that's what everyone expected of me and I didn't have any other plans, so why not?
But now I'm really regretting it. Last year wasn't so bad, but this year I have been miserable here the ENTIRE time. I miss my family back in AK so much it's becoming a depression, and I miss my friends who all stayed at home to attend college in Fairbanks. I don't have many friends here, and my roommate is leaving CSU in January. I also feel like the academics are not suiting me here- the class sizes are WAY too huge and I hate all the science programs.

I'm wondering where I can find a chart for the GED scoring system in Indiana. How many points are good... how many are bad... and so on. I'd really like to find somethin' showing how I did on each seperate section of the test but again... just as long as I can see how I did, I'll be fine.

I know that the average MCAT score to get into MD school is nearly 5 points higher than DO school.

So why would anyone choose to go to a DO school over going to an MD school if they had the option?

In 6 years, my fellow classmates and I will become pharmacists. My professor asked us to each interview a pharmacist and its due tomorrow. If you're a pharmacist, can you do me a huge favor and answer these questions? Thank you very much!!
1. Any advice for the future pharmacists?
2. What influenced you to become a pharmacist?
3. Have you ever regretted becoming a pharmacist?
4. During you years in college, have you ever said to yourself or anyone: "I can't take this anymore, I really want to drop out?"
5. Did you ever want to switch majors in college? If yes, what major and why?
6. Was it hard to find a job?
7. Are you satisfied with your current job?
8. For your internships, where did you go to? Did you like where you worked? Why or why not?
9. Did you study or work abroad for a short period of time in college before? If yes, where? Did you like the experience? If you worked, did you work in a pharmacy, hospital, community or? Would you recommend going abroad?

Hi, I'm writing up some coursework in which I was going to use the above phrase but I'm not sure if it's in the right context. I assumed it meant when you kept seeing the same person over and over again. I looked on Wikipedia and found its based on Charles Whitman, a man who went up a clock tower after killing his mother and wife and then randomly shot passers-by. The first time I heard of it was on the Simpsons, where Ned Flanders has a dream where he ascends a clock tower, in a homicidal trance against Homer Simpson, and fires shots at people below, saying 'That's Homer, that's Homer' with each victim. I assumed from this that the phrase comes from when you keep seeing a person everywhere. Anyone know if that's the correct definition?
