In 6 years, my fellow classmates and I will become pharmacists. My professor asked us to each interview a pharmacist and its due tomorrow. If you're a pharmacist, can you do me a huge favor and answer these questions? Thank you very much!!
1. Any advice for the future pharmacists?
2. What influenced you to become a pharmacist?
3. Have you ever regretted becoming a pharmacist?
4. During you years in college, have you ever said to yourself or anyone: "I can't take this anymore, I really want to drop out?"
5. Did you ever want to switch majors in college? If yes, what major and why?
6. Was it hard to find a job?
7. Are you satisfied with your current job?
8. For your internships, where did you go to? Did you like where you worked? Why or why not?
9. Did you study or work abroad for a short period of time in college before? If yes, where? Did you like the experience? If you worked, did you work in a pharmacy, hospital, community or? Would you recommend going abroad?

this is answering a questionaire.....not an interview.

Are you sure that you all will be Pharmacists in 6 years. Had you conducted an interview you would have heard how tough it is to get in to Pharmacy schools. Odds are many of you won't get in.

So perhaps that is the question to number1.

2) I was originally going to bet my degree in mathematics, but changed majors in a hurry after I spoke with the dean of the College of Math. Pharmacy seemed like a good choice.

3) I've never had regrets, because nothing else I'd like to do pays even a third of what I do now.

4)I never said that to myself......I'd just get drunk and I'd be back to normal in 8 hours.

5) see number 2

6) It was hard picking which one I wanted. Jobs came looking for me. Today, most students have jobs before they graduate. Those that don't are simply angling for more money. Unemployment does not exist with Pharmacists.

7) It's OK. See number 3

8) I interned at a children's hospital. It was and remains perhaps the best place to do a Pharmacy internship. MY EXternships ran the gamut from Poison control, to a rat-hole grocery store.

9) Going abroad isn't going to help you at all in regards to a career in Pharmacy.
