When is it appropriate to use the word "*****" when referring to historic events?

Could someone provide me with a list of words containing "*****" used as an adjective that are acceptable in today's modern American society? For example: I remember in my 5th grade history book, they spoke of "***** slaves" and "***** spirituals" and of course, there's the United ***** College Fund. Are there any other socially acceptable uses for the word "*****"? Thanks in advance.

What are things NOT to do as a freshmen in High School?

I am going to be a freshmen in high school next week, and i was wondering what are things that freshen, do, say, or wear that are just stupid and that i will regret years later... example from middle school: 6th graders would hug their books as they walked in the hallways.
