Also, don't ask Como estas? That is the way you would ask a buddy or a child or someone "under" your station in life. Your Professor or Professora is someone of respect, so you don't want to use the familiar tu' form, but the more formal Usted form.

Instead: Ask Como Esta? (Make sure if you are writing it that you have an upside down question mark before the sentance and a regular one after the sentence) You pronounce it, Com (long e like a hair comb) Westas (Like west the direction and 'as' like the 'au' sound in sauce).
