Ok so I'm starting senior year soon and after all the comments from people I feel much better about it, thanks to all who gave me some advice, anyways, what are you guys doing to prepare for your last year of high school, or just starting any school year? I'm kinda sad that this is my last full week of school but excited and anxious to start. Anyone else feel like they wish summer was longer but are kind of glad school is starting? I wish I would have done more this summer though. I start aug. 30th by the way.

Ok there could be rules for chewing gum at school instead of not being able to have it at all but why do they still disallow it? I'd like to hear opionions about it and nothing more

All right. So, for the first two years of High School, I did fairly well. Took a number of decent courses, generally got in the mid 90's (the equivalent of an 'A'.)

This past Junior year, however, was absolutely terrible. A number of factors contributed, not the least of them me taking four difficult AP classes (College Level), and also having to take care of my family after my father had to leave for work.

Now, I'm entering my Senior year. I'm pushing myself to do extremely well first term Senior year (I'm confident, especially since things have gotten easier at home and the courses themselves are my strongest subjects). However, is it too late for me?

They say Junior year is the most important year, and I definitely failed expectations. Can I redeem myself? Is there anything else you would suggest?

I'm confused about all the terms and meanings of everything. I like kids and I'm okay with paper work, it's fine for me but I love working with people. If there is a job that I can deal with people with out blood would be great. (Little cuts or scrapes are okay, but just not anything gushing out is good). Please help me. Thank you

My problem I guess can be categorized as daydreaming, but what I think is happening is actually my mind going off on its on tangent to try to assimilate what I just read, for instance reading about PC hardware. I'm taking a programming class and the first chapter touches on PC hardware such as the processor, memory, etc. The chapter describes how data goes from user input into memory then to the processor and so forth.

All of a sudden I'm not reading, but envisioning some guy at a desk writing calculations on a scratch piece of paper with the words "main memory" on it and he's got the word processor on his forehead. I realized I at some point faded into my little vision of what I had just read.

This is terribly annoying. And I believe this only happens when I'm reading material that is intended to explain stuff because I don't have this wandering imagination issue when I read "The Da Vinci Code"

Make it stop. I want to be able to concentrate on my homework.
