okay so I juss moved to USA from Bangladesh in Asia, I lost one school year, now I am 18 and gonna be in sophomore, so I'm pretty depressed for this late education, is it possible that my high school can permit me to skip sophomore class & go to Junior class, I have done great in my Freshman year so I dunno if thats possible and one more thing, I wanna go to a good college like Harvard or John Hopkins, so would those colleges take me if I skip one high school year??

Scientists may have found less incidence of brain waves in animals or suchlike but this doesn't automatically mean that they have less intelligence. Though they don't have the means to create like we do (no hands), nor the ability to consult books or write down ideas, for all we know many animals could be geniuses.

My fiance's brother, who is 17, has effectively dropped out of high school. He has been "home schooled" for his entire life, but this means he has little to no education since his parents basically just let him sit at home all day every day and do nothing. Before I continue, I also was home schooled and my parents did a great job. I graduated at the top of my class in high school and have done very well in college. However, it's people like his parents that ruin a good thing. They think education is stupid and unnecessary. What can I do to convince him not to quit and also to convince them not to encourage him in ruining his life?

My 4 year old (he'll be 5 at the end of August) is a great little guy, he was in pre-school last year and his teacher advised that he attend young 5's instead of kindergarten because he's shy for one reason and he also has trouble writing (he hasn't picked a predominate hand, he uses both for writing). Otherwise he's smart, very attentive and just an all around good kid. My husband wants him in kindergarten...I just want what is best for him....

I need to store 725 boxes in a storage place, and rent a truck to pick up these boxes. If one box measures:
11" in length
7.5" in width
3" in height

Willa 155 sq.ft storage place be enough, and what size truck will I need?? A 317, 400, or 700 cu. ft. van which one???
