When i was in highschool or college and we had to read fiction, i couldn't retain anything after reading it. non-fiction books is much better for me because it's interesting and something that i can relate to. Is thre some reason why i can't understand or retain what i get out of fiction books. Maybe it's the vocab or what?? i'm confused. For the most part i read nonfiction books about health, or how to do something in the computer, or history, or how to draw, history of music.. you know things like this. But i wonder if i can ever become good at reading fiction?

I graduated HS in 2000 and then joined the Marines in 2001. I am out now and start classes in January at the University of Minnesota.

What should I do after being out of school so long? I took my ACT and got a 27 on it in Oct 05'. I also have a college algebra class done that I got a C+ in.

Will I be able to get help from the proffesors? I suspect math will be my only problem? I will be majoring in Architectural Design.

what is the procedure to become an electrician??? would it not be possible to do this at college alone ,or would i have to be with a firm??? is there a certificate we all need to carry out this work when qualified??? would it be dificult at 33??

Im applying to the post office, for general work (ie. corting mail, etc.) but there was no advertisment made of any job openings, but I was told to send my resume there anyways, and I just need help with a phrase to put on my cover letter to go with my resume, to say that I would like to apply for ANY position, and Im not quite sure how to word it. Come on people if any of the older guys/girls like myself think they should raise the age difference to 16 possibly 18? BECAUSE TEENS today are way too immature to have sex at 14 that's sick and I have a story before the whole age consent thing when they moved it to 14 before...PLEASE tell me some of you have common sense and agrees with me? Please let me know....
