If religion makes people fear god and do good, then its fine. but if it divides ppl, then we dont need religion. My take is that all religions lead to one god who is one and the same the diff been that we call him by diff names but he is one and the same. But somehow I guess we would have been well off without religions..as they have now become means to divide ppl

Religion ? means Discipline,and faith, to obey discipline you need some rule and it was created by some wise persons. In beginning human was like animals ,he was behaving Like same as animals were dong there was no familyes or any social values so some wise people thought how to control and they start creating some rules and restrictions.Slow by slow they start creating these rules which called Religion. Religion is not Bad it give you discipline and faith so it is good.But now people made it business and on name of religion they are doing all the Bad things which is hurting Humanity which is Bad,So religion is not Bad miss use of Religion is Bad.

Every coin has two sides, however because i am a God fearing i do think religion is necessary as long as it doesn't interfere in anyone Else's life. religion makes it easy for people to relate themselves with God. you can't trust any thing unless you relate that thing in a positive or a negative way with you. we should have religion but it should not be superimposed on anyone.
