High school diploma or GED?

I am bipolar and this past school year I dropped out halfway through and moved out of my parents house. Now I am back at home and I am supposed to be a senior next year and there are some tests that I can take to earn credit for the semester I missed. I'm wanting to go to college for either nursing or early childhood education (probably nursing). but I am wondering if you think I should just get my GED and go on to college or try to take the tests (which I may not pass and are expensive) and try to go back to high school?

tired of stupid people? What's wrong with this country?

You know, I try not to be judgemental and all, but its really a pet peave of mine to see people writing on here, and on other site's, that just don't make any sense at all. People on here write questions like "girl to marry find marry girl". What kind of grammar is that? Or "What is the berma trigle?". With the technology we have today, spelling and grammar should be unexcusable mistakes. The first thought that came to my mind is maybe here just don't know how to speak English. Then why are they here? There are japanses and german and italian and spanish versions of yahoo...Why hang out on here with us Americans. Then I realized, maybe its not a language or cultural issue. Maybe people are just retarded. How bad must our education system be now a days where grown people can't even talk right or write properly, or some, to lazy to spell out "you are"..instead, they put "ur"...Its sad, because America, what was once the model of technological advancement. Now, people can't even spell it!

Does the gov't have the right to weigh our children in public schools and tell the parents they are obese?

When I was in high school, they weighed us and sent a letter to the parents telling them their children were either at risk of or are obese. Do they think parents don't know? It is nice that the government is trying to help kids and parents get healthy, but isn't there another way to do it? And it isn't just in high schools, they are doing it in Elementaries also. My niece is 10?! No one should ever tell her she is fat! They are so worried with the appearance of people that they aren't seeing the bigger picture! How many people they will hurt and how many self-esteems will be injured because of their journey to creating a better health in Americans. It is of free choice people eat so much they get sick. Let them be ignorant and harm their bodies. Don't hurt the children because mommy and daddy can't eat a vargetable or two or cook a meal rather than go to McDonalds.
