in Act 5 scene 5 Macbeth makes four metaphors about life in his soliloquy. List four things Macbeth is camparing to life.
The soliloquy: She would have died sooner or later, but later would have been better. Tomorrow, tomorrow, and tomorrow, creeps in this petty pace from day to day to the last syllable of recorded time; and all our yesterdays have shown fools the way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle! Life's just a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
note: okay I found three metaphors but I can't find the fourth one.
first metaphor: Life's just a walking shadow
second metaphor: a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more
third metaphor: It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing
please help.
