Can anyone preferably a History/AP History teacher tell me where I might be able to find either a convenient small textbook or novel like book which I could read to understand the following histories: World Hist, U.S. Hist, and European Hist.I just feel ignorant about history in general. I wrote something like:

Entertainment plays a big role in our lives. Whenever we need to we need to relax we watch football, basketball, baseball and so on
on TV. So it's important to take part in considering whether the professional atheltes should have a salary cap or not. In that sense it's an issue.

So far it's actually quite interesting. Anyway, I did a bunch of the homework already, but I need some help. (The homework is on the first two acts, so no need to go through the whole book.)

Anyway, here are the questions I'm having trouble finding, and answering. (Please don't give page numbers, not all book versions are the same.)

a.How do the following characters describe De Guiche?

b.How do the following characters describe Cyrano?

and finally:

No, I'm not cheating, or trying to pass off my work to others, I never do that. I'm just having trouble finding the answers, and the deadline is midnight tonight. I already have done the rest of the work. Any help will be much appreciated!

The measure of an angle is 24 less than twice it supplement.
If x= the measure of the angle, which equation must be true?
