1st essay has to be a first-person narrative in which the moment of narration (when the story is being told) is very close in time to the event described. The 2nd is another first person narrative (same narrator, same event), but this time the event being described happened several years ago. Any suggestions? or help would be greatly appreciated!

Every person in my class so far who has gone up to the board to begin their report started off with something like, "My report is going to be about..." or "The topic I chose for my report is..." which is boring, and the teacher doesn't like it either. How should I start it off then, to keep my classmates from snoring? The teacher strictly said, "Don't start off like that!" and they do it anyway but I don't know how else to start. Thank you in advance!

Her name is Regina, and she needs a middle and last name still. I can't seem to find one that I really like and that flows well. Regina is kind of a malicious character. She's two-faced and backstabbing. But sometimes she can be uber-sweet. Can someone help me please?

It takes 12 units of carbohydrates & 6 units of protein to satisfy the minimum weekly nutrition requirements of one certain species of animal in the Houston Zoo. A particular type of meat contains 2 units of carbohydrates and 2 units of protein per pound while particular type of cheese contains 3 units of carbohydrates and 1 unit of protein per pound. Meat costs $3.50 per pound, cheese costs $4.50 per pound.

(a) How many pounds of each are needed to minimize the cost and still meet the minimum requirements for proper nutrition?

(b) What is this minimum cost of food per week?

On August 28, 1963 Martin Luther King Jr. led a march of approximately 250,000 people from the nation’s Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. His speech at the Lincoln Memorial included increasing the minimum wage from $1.15 per hour to $2.00 per hour. Congress increased the federal minimum wage from $1.15 to $1.25 per hour in 1963. The federal minimum wage did not reach $2.00 per hour until 1974. What is the positive difference between the percent increase in the minimum wage passed by congress in 1963 and the percent increase requested by Martin Luther King Jr. in his speech? Express your answer to the nearest tenth.

Assume the federal minimum wage was $1.15 per hour on September 1, 1963 and $2.00 per hour on September 1, 1974. Assume the federal minimum wage increased annually on September 1 by r percent of the previous year’s wage for each of the years during this time period. What is the value of r? Express your answer as a decimal to the nearest tenth
