Okay we're solving systems by elimination, and I don't get it!!!
Can you maybe step-by-step it?
The problems are:

2) x+2y =2
5x - 3y = -29

4) x-2y = -3
2x - 4y =3

6) 3x-5y=61
3x-y=17

8) 5x+2y=24
4x+3y=29

I've been doing some Pre-Calc homework and tried doing a certain problem a few times and still can't come up with the right answer. The promblem is 7(3X+6)=11-(X-2). I usually do pretty well with math but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong with this problem. The first time I did it, I got -2 and the second time, I got -3, but the back of the book says the answer is -2/3. Help, please!
