I have to write this paper about the hardships of blacks, from the period of the Reconstruction to the mid 20th century, focusing on American society and its problems.

Can you give me the hardships of blacks, focusing on American society and its problems, in the following times?
-the Reconstruction (after Civil War)
-the beginning of the 20th century (1900-1930)
-the mid 20th century (1930-1960)

Thank you very much. I would like information on those times and not just links, but if you have any link sources please put them down. But just not only links. =)

Heres the question: Let's say your grandpa really likes you and decides to give you one penny one day, two pennies the next day, four pennies the third day, eight pennies the day after that. Each day he gives you twice as many pennies as the day before. If he keeps this up for a month, how much money will you have gotten from him by then? If you can't answer, can you approximate how much money. Ok thats the end of the question. Keep in mind that this is 4th grade math so there must be a simple way to do this. Also since this is 4th grade math the answer can't be in the billions. If you can solve it with please make sure you show your work thanks.

I'm just seeing a lot of questions to some of the simple things that kids shoud know. I mean shouldn't they know if you need research than google it, or if you have math problems as a family member or teacher! What happened to the old fashion way? Why do you think kids are doing this? Will it ever stop? Will there just me new means of "cheating" their answers! Is there nothing wrong with this method of use at all?

I'm writing a paper for school on the hardships of blacks during the mid 19th-mid 20th century.
I need to make it 250 words minimum, so I decided to have 5 paragraphs:
1st Paragraph: Opening
2nd Paragraph: ?????????
3rd Paragraph: Segregation (in schools, bathrooms, public transportation, etc.)
4th Paragraph: About groups, such as Ku Klux Klan, that terrorized blacks
5th Paragraph: Closing

I like the order of that, but I'm not sure what should be the topic for my second paragraph. I would rather not right about how whites treated blacks poorly because that clashes to closely to the groups that didn't like them (4th Paragraph), so what should be the topic for the 2nd paragraph on the hardships of blacks at that time? Something I don't know about? Thank you very much
P.S. Also the laws for blacks were too much on segregation, which I write about in the 3rd paragraph, so I'd rather not make a seperate paragraph for that either.
