If i dont get this answer i will fail this worksheet and its Algebra 1 the problem is 11 - 1/10x = 10 what does x equal any help is appreciated.

-1/10x = 10-11
-1/10x = -1
10x=-1/-1
X = 1/10

Subtract 11 from both sides so you get

-1/10x=-1

Then multiply both sides by the reciprocal to isolate x.

(-10)*-1/10x=(-1)(-10)
x=10

Plug in the original equation 11-1/10(10)=11-1=10

awwww.. a Freshman i presume...i remember my days of algebra 1..it was so wonderful...algebra 2 to i never went to class but i still passed...and now im on to geometry...but if u plan on gettin though ure math and science classes invest in a graphing caculator..u wouldnt be askin this question if u had one
