11 - 1/10x = 10
-1/10x = 10-11
-1/10x = -1
10x=-1/-1
X = 1/10

Subtract 11 from both sides so you get
-1/10x=-1
Then multiply both sides by the reciprocal to isolate x.
(-10)*-1/10x=(-1)(-10)
x=10
Plug in the original equation 11-1/10(10)=11-1=10
