My teachers said that we were having a test on map rules but i have no idea what they r could you help me out and tell me?

Assuming you mean guidelines that are followed by those creating maps:
North is at the top, S,E,W,etc.,
Scaling measurements are included.
Map labeling (city, country, planet, etc.).
Color code or something else that separates one area from another.
Basically, if you look at a map, what are the things included on that map that gives the map meaning or definition.

Map rules refers to things like the key, the scale, and the length (usually in metric) on a map.

Maps have certain symbols they use to show different things. That is probably what it is.
