1st you have to subtract 8 from 50 50-8=42

Then to figure what A is, you have to multiply the answer (42) x 2 = 84

Therefore 50= 8+ 84/2 BECAUSE 84 divided by 2=42 AND 42+8=50

A = 84!!!
