I live in Texas, and I am now a senior in High School. I wish I wasn't an illegal alien but it wasn't my choice. I would really like to go to college and become a doctor and also get a music major, but with my problem...is it still possible to go to college?

My mother is a first year pre school teacher who has a little boy who does not speak english at all. He speaks spanish, but absolutely NO english whatsoever. Hes getting very frustrated in class because he doesnt understand anything thats going on around him. I suggested she find some sort of dvds and workbooks to send home with this boy to help him out. Can anyone suggest a dvd system or book system to help a 4 year old learn to speak english that doesnt cost much money? Thanks!

Here's my question ( and this is mostly for the twentiesh folks on Yahoo Answers, if any) ~ I'm havin a life crisis because I will be graduating with a Architecture Degree when I'm 27, (because I had to start out at a junior college and it took me longer than expected); has anyone felt different or felt competition was a little harder trying to land yourself a job in a career where you graduated college later , since most college folks graduate around 22 and get more experience than you??? Do you think it's all about yourself and your work ethics, that separates you from your age and experience??? I am feeling a little down, since I'm not sure how I will cope with graduating later and knowing their will be younger people competing for the same jobs??? Any suggestions or "pick-me ups" or "Tough...deal with life" advice would help. Thanks.

I could watch classes over my internet connection and take notes, he's friendly and knows the way to school and how to sit, chases the bus anyway, and I could teach him my locker combination. If the teachers gave him some bacon he could learn the way between classes pretty quick too!

I have a question about the Harvard Extension school. I can't actually move to the east coast to go to Harvard, but I am interested in their Extension school which has online classes. I have a few questions though:

1. Can you earn a real degree from the Harvard Extension school? For example, a BA or MA... not just an Associates Degree or a certificate of some kind?

2. Since it has an "open-enrollment" policy, is that just a fancy way of saying community college? What I mean is, on my transcript, will it look bad to have Harvard Extension School, as it would if I had some sort of community college on there?

3. Can any one of their classes be taken towards a degree, or must you enroll in one of their special programs for it to count towards in undergraduate degree?

4. Can I use courses from the Harvard Extension School as prerequisites for MEDICAL SCHOOL (real medical school)?

Thanks so much! I'll pick a best answer TONIGHT!

Pin (number??????????)?
why do people persist in saying pin NUMBER? dont they know that "PIN" is a acronym for Personal Identification Number and so there is no need to tack the word "number" on the end of it.
Ive even seen "personal pin number" used (this was by a bank as well!!!)
Only a matter of time before we see the totally absurd "personal identification pin number" !!!!!! LOL @ *****!
I know i asked this before but I didnt get a chance to say to the idiot who thinks I want everyone to say "whats your personal identification number?" that, NO actually, Id like them to say "whats your PIN please?" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
