I am currently in Algebra one. I understand everything but not as fast as others. I have gotten very good grades on all of my homework but when It comes to a test I just cant get above a C . This is really hurting my grade. I have a quiz tomorrow. Does anyone have any Ideas of how I should be studying or does anyone have something they do that helps them before a test like makeing notecards?

i need help getting back at a teacher. I'm in her class this year and everytime that i do something wrong on a paper she reads it aloud and tries to get people to laugh at me.......and also when im giving a speech she will interupt me and tell me to stand up straighter or to fix my hair. whats her deal? i mean hello? I have to write a term paper...and my author is Sylvia Plath!! if you arent sure who she is...well pretty much she is crazy she stuck her head in a oven while her kids were in the next room that was her 4th attempt at suicide and she finally succeed!!! hopefully u already no about her cuz that would help....but i have no idea where to start for my thesis statement that draws attention to the main story!!!!! plz help thanks...the better the thesis u help me with the better ur points will go up!!! lol jk!!! but i will pick u!! plz plz help!!!

I've studied spanish and italian all through highschool and college. I'm good at both but nowhere near fluent. I can't swing leaving the country for two years with the peace corps or anything yet, but I want to get some real world experience with both langauges and reach fluency sometime before I die.
I've heard of these intensive language programs abroad that put you through two weeks of study and you come out with a whole lot more competency than when you went in. Some people say, however, that this is a waste of money and I'd be better off backpacking like I usually do. What's your take?

I'm usually a "listener" in the classroom, rarely speaking-out, unless asked a specific question. As a business major, I'm required to complete Macro Economics, which should be no problem after the effortless "A" from Micro Economics last semester. The only problem is that my professor developed an extremely negative attitude towards me, after "Voicing my opinion" on illegal immigration.

He got completely off the subject of Macro Supply & Demand and started talking about Micro Economic effects of illegal immigration in our city. I sat there and listened, thinking that maybe I was being enlightened in some form, as my opinion on the economic effects of illegal immigration is completely different.

As a closing statement to his off subject speech, he said "Illegal immigration is good; our local economy would crash without it." At that point, I told him that he should consider the amount of money that's being sent back to Mexico, and how much the city spends on illegal heathcare.

I am in year 9 and we have to learn french we have no choice but i am picking my GCSE's this yr and am picking french instead of spanishbecause i find it easier even tho im still not gd at french, but the thing is even if i try my teacher shouts at me when its wrong i have argued with her plenty of times and when its parents evening she pretends that she dont shout at me, she wont let me move groups and i feel like she enjoys taking her anger out on me i really want to quit french and wag the lessons but my parents will find out , does anyone have any sharp remarks that i can say to her when she is shoutin at me for doing it wrong please help me coz i dont want to end up punching my teacher coz that is the way shes heading plz help i would be really grate-ful
