Do you want the cook or non-cook recipe? I recommend the cook recipe, it works better and is much more plyable. Good Luck!

Non-Cook Playdough Recipe
3 c. flour 1/2 c. oil 1 Tbsp food coloring
1 1/2 c. salt 1 c. water

Mix all together, then knead dough. Store in a plastic bag.

Cook Playdough Recipe

1 c. cold water w/ food coloring

Stir all together in pot. Cook over medium heat for 4 minutes or until thick. Spoon onto counter. Knead carefully, HOT!!! Cool & store in air tight container.

1 Cup flour
1/2 Cup salt
1 TBS Cream tarter
1 TBS oil (any cooking oil so does baby oil)
1 Cup Water
Mix all ingredients on low heat until a ball forms then kneed.

You can add Kool Aid for scent and color if you like or you can use flavoring oils (sucker flavorings work good). Some of these are very strong and a lot goes a long ways. I have also added glitter for texture and color.
